Fourteen years on, which is rather hard to believe, there’s finally a new look. Nothing like having your hand forced. Though to be fair, I’d been meaning to do something for a while. Is it perfect? No, very much not so. But. I have learned enough over the last 36 hours, give or take, to do the necessary fine-tuning going forward. For example, I’ve got to fix sort some of the menu links or just delete them.

But I’m feeling good that I’ve been moving faster than the transfer business for Villa. Which is just fine. Gave me a good window to sneak this in.

From what I can gather now that I’m emerging from the dark forest is that every big club considers Ollie Watkins as the prime Plan B when all their dream targets fail to materialize.

If I’m Ollie, that might make me think a bit. And give me a little something to prove.

Otherwise, I’ve not really seen much but the expected departures, the ongoing Coutinho haggling, and the usual “Villa miss out” articles. What’s nice, as JG pointed out in the old social, is that the rumors of our dire straits appear to have been somewhat over exaggerated. Which is what Plug’s been saying for the last six weeks.

So. There we go. I’m expecting the old site to go dark sometime in the next couple hours. Could be wrong. I’ve heard sweet FA from the so-called hosts. Anyway. When that happens, I’ll link this up, and we’re back to the usual.
